We arrived in Mexico City last night late, staying at the 'W', or as they say it, "El Doblavey." Passing on the dead-turkey-in-bread on the flight, I was starving. We ended up having dinner around midnight, then made it back to our red-rooms around 1am. Haven't seen anything but it yet.
I still can't get over the fact that 28 million people live here.

You need to get a bit smarter when traveling, especially since you are a vegetarian. How about preparing some food ahead to take with you so you won't have to go the starving route. It will help you to stay healthy and also help to keep your energy up, which I believe is extremely important on these marathons. Just a bit of advice from mom! Safe Travels!!
that's such a mom comment. I did done brought me protein bars, I just checked em...
Cool room. Isn't Mexico City pretty high - altitude wise? Just take that in consideration when you feel tired and take a break.
Get enough sleep.
you are so lucky, queso: two moms to give you sage advice.
I was also gonna weigh in with my "big brother" comment about how he should have prepared better, but I guess I'll just leave it alone.

You just know that because some intelligent mentor type warned you about mexican hookers ----isn't that right?
