The blue-colored hotel is The Georgian in Santa Monica. Right on Ocean Blvd, it's probably one of my favorite hotels. If you're ever there, I'd recommend the Oatmeal with Carmalized Bananas. Probably one of my favorite breakfasts of all time. Reasonably priced, on the ocean, great staff, and just plain cool looking, it has a terrace out front that I could sit on for weeks without getting bored. Woke up every morning and ran on the boardwalk on the beach, finishing with a rocky-style run down the pier to the end, where I took this picture.

Always on the lookout for good hotels in Santa Monica. How much is a room?
Ike - probably around 2-250ish - depends on day and season - they're pretty busy all summer. It's a pretty reasonable place, and we're always staying at starwood and hilton places for work (for points) - but it's worth passing them up to stay at a cool old, unpretentious, art-deco hotel. 3rd street Promade is a minute away, restaurants everywhere...
