Fall is here!

Haven't posted a picture in a while. I woke up this morning and the sun was bright pink over the treetops at 6am this morning. The trees have all started their color change, and the streets were littered with the beginnings of the falling leaves. It was only 52 when I left the house this morning, and I realized that Fall is officially here. This is a shot from London, just across from Buckingham Palace, taken in early November last year.

Wow, Casey, spectacular shot, really just reinforces for me one of the reasons I love fall in the midwest, and London, of course. The mix of colors is just wonderful.

During the Fall, I drive home from work down a road called 1000 North. It is a rolling country road that runs under canopies of maple, ash and oak.

The setting sun hits the trees in one spot so perfectly, that they look as if they have been dipped in gold and bronze.

Also...no mosquitos, bees and hornets.

Great shot. Too bad you had to fly so damn far to get it. I hear they have scenes like that across the road at the Botanic Garden.
