Back in Chicago after another tough trip. Took a 16 hour flight yesterday from New Delhi and arrived this morning at 6am. For now, just sifting through a few pictures I took. Here's a really cool one from an early morning walk in Barcelona.

Sidewalk looks really cool, is it bricks or some sort of concrete that is stamped?
Good question. I'm not sure really, but I'm going with bricks. If you look at the picture, there are a bunch of imperfect lines and smaller wedges that make me think they were brick. I really like the trees without their leaves. They're pretty ominous looking. I also like how the lightpole weaves it's way into the outlines of the branches.
I also like it because it reminds of a rare moment when I was not working, in a plane, and able to breathe outside air.
Haunting picture. Looks like a scene where something has or will happen.
Welcome home. I hope you are home for a while. How was the food in Spain?
I am home for a while. I have no travel scheduled right now until we leave for Florida in April. Surely that'll change, but for now, it feels good. I'm looking forward to regular sleep, going to the gym, and eating good food. Mostly the food part. Trying to eat vegetarian in Barcelona was tough, but I did have the best Indian food of my life in Mumbai.
