P & D

I stay aware of all things asthma, and my home page had a new interesting article on the need for Vitamin D in pregnant moms. There's always a new study, right? Of course, in a few years they'll disprove it, but I have nothing else today other than it's going to rain.

Plaula isn't real good with dairy. Is soy milk fortified with D? I think that she likes cheese and yogurt. I'm thinkin' folic acid (and all b complex) may be important for her, too.

Rain - yes - let my girls in from the yard this morning and Grace looked like a German Short Haired Pointer (lots more brown speckles). Trudy, believe it or not, doesn't get quite so muddy, she runs very lightly and horizontally (they say that ES are "blue smoke" out in the field). Grace gallops in the mud like a little horse. She's quite a dramatic mover. Zed just watches her in utter horror as clumps of grass and mud fly up under her feet. Socks doesn't venture far or fast enough to get dirty.

Time to get my butt out there to walk them before our yard looks like a mud hole. Grace started obedience on Monday and We have to practice anyway.

By the way, Trudy and I are signed up to actually do an agility trial in June in Kalamazoo (am I nuts or what!). My trainer said that it's time to get our feet wet.

She'll surely weigh in here, but she does great. She's taking a multivitamin, and yep, soy milk is loaded with the same amount of D as regular milk - see here.
