This site on stressing
buying dogs used over new is fantastic in it's effort, but unfortunately another hit of reality on how many and how often dogs are being put down. Thankfully, as a dog lover with 3 cats, I was unable to find my model within 250 miles.

We were this short of fostering another setter. He looked like a mail version of Trudy. Jack was melting fast. Luckily someone else closer by decided to take him.
