Otto has finally started pointing at the 'birdy' on Dad's arm. Let's hope he doesn't go down this path.

I guess no comment from me would be appreciated at this point, but I can only hope and pray that he stays away from the whole tatoo scene. I love you, and darling Otto too!
vaughn and avery are always pointing to my tattoo, and calling it a "tropical bird" when it's actually a pegasus with rainbow mist. rick always say's "don't even think about you two!"
After my divorce, I toyed with the idea of getting a discrete, really pretty, graceful tattoo. Sometimes, now I wish I had. It would have been a memento of a time that took a lot of courage for me.
I did meet a woman who had had a mastectomy and replaced her breast with a huge, amazingly beautiful tattoo. She told me that she wanted to replace something beautiful that she had lost with another beautiful thing.
I don't think that they are bad if they 're beautifully done and remind you of a time in your life that you want to remember.
i think that's pretty much the main reason most people get them. we sometimes watch la ink and that seems to be their reason. for me that was true. reminds me of specific things/times i 'went through' - and are reminders. why people feel they need those to be permanent artwork for others to see, i'm not sure. maybe it's the same reason people have blogs.
