Happy Anniversary!

4 years ago today, I asked my wife Paula to marry me on the beach in Captiva, Florida. I don't even think most of that beach is intact after last years hurricane, but I can remember the day as if it happened yesterday. Hard to believe 1,460 days have passed since that beautiful Saturday afternoon.

It's a sleety, shitty-chicago day, and my wife is in Tulsa, so not the most memorable of anniversaries, but a quick glance at this photo takes me out of my reality and reminds me that just the memory alone is enough to transcend our mismatched schedules today.

Happy Anniversary P!

Thanks Anonymous! I'm guessing that by Laruen, this means I'm taking to Chris Weiland, correct? Believe it or not, I actually know a Lauren Hess too! (we have a Laurel as well.)

See you on the track!

One of my favorite weddings, with all my favorite people in attendance. Happy Anniversay to both you and Paula, and even if it is a "sleety, shitty-chicago day, and your wife is in Tulsa," you do have each other when the weather and the distance are not a problem. Enjoy the celebration.
Love to you both.

It was a most amazing and beautiful wedding of a very special couple. Lots of love and sinchronicity amongst all parties. It makes me happy just thinking about that day.

Both Zed and I wish you many many more years to come.

Love, Mom

P.S. Roma - When the new baby becomes a toddler, she'll dance on the beach, just like Paula did when she was little! (teehee)
