The New Maestro

There's a new maestro in the Hess house. Billy Idol Wolfgang Hess has taken a liking to the piano. His technique needs a little work, but something tells me he already gets the concept of musical phrasing. He lets his notes breathe, listens to them ring out, then bashes the next set, as if he understands a bit about melody. Our piano has now been played by four generations. A friend's grandmother gave us this piano, so it's nice to see another set hands make "mikic" as my nephew would say. I'd prefer him to punch away on a graphing calculator, but you can't take the music out of the soul!

Get him signed up for lessons right away. By the way, that is an awfully cute pose you caught him in - he actually looks like he knows what he is doing.

Neat that he listens to what he creates on the piano. Start the neural roadways in his brain and he'll just run with it. Actually they say that music increases and improves the learning processes of mathematics.

Now you've got to get some crayons in his little hands for some real fun.

now get vaughn in on drums, and cheekie on vocals (she likes to scream), and we've got a band.
