Just back from 9 days in Sanibel - took less shots this year, and apparently I can't get enough of my own kid - enjoy the fifty odd pictures of him, him and paula, etc.
If I may geek out for a minute, I'm using my Minolta 7D camera with a 100-300mm telephoto lens. The lens is from the old 35mm camera (that my dad donated). Using those 35mm lenses on digital cameras creates a zoom multiplier, so that lens actually zooms 1.5 times as much as it's rated. That means I was far away, and the focal length was really short - which blurs out the background. Thanks for asking - and thanks for the compliment!
Enjoyed the pictures, reminding me how much I miss being able to see Otto everyday. That was a real treat. And, your are a true parent of the first child, just can't get enough pictues of him. We all do/did that. It's wonderful.
Wow!!!! you are a great photographer. i can't get over how big otto is! i love his teeth. and pictures of nakie babies are so cute. i'm so happy you all had a nice time.

Great photos! I'm so jealous. Looks like Otto's got big choppers like his Mom.
Yikes! Sanibelinoma?!!!
Shots 13 through 15 are absolutely beautiful - so warm and wonderful and real! What do you shoot with?
